酷热来袭，大暑已至
大暑，第十二个节气，此时太阳到达黄经120度。大暑节气正值“三伏”，是我国一年中日照最多、气温最高的时期。俗话说“冷在三九，热在中伏”，大暑相对小暑，顾名思义，更加炎热。

一、送大暑船

大暑送“大暑船”的风俗活动，在浙江台州沿海已有几百年的历史。据说在清同治年间，此地常有病疫流行，大暑时节病疫就更为严重，人们以为是五位凶神所致，于是在江边建了五圣庙，在大暑节这一天，用特制的木船将供品送至椒江口外，以送走瘟疫，以此祝福人们五谷丰登，生活安康。
