The water leisure tourism culture training lasts for two days and includes the theoretical class on September 14th and the practical class on the 15th.
The theoretical class training session on September 14 was held in the 331 lecture hall of Huibo Center. Dr. Cheng Juehao, an associate professor of the Shanghai Institute of Cruises, Shanghai Maritime University, was invited. Dr. Cheng is the deputy secretary-general of the China Cruises Cruises Branch; Shanghai International Shipping Research Center Deputy Director of the Cruise Yacht Research Institute; member of the Shanghai Cruise Development Expert Committee.
Dr. Cheng led the participating Expo elites to comprehensively study the origins of urban water sports competitions through extensive, meticulous and in-depth explanations and analysis; the feasibility analysis of water sports on a large scale; the relationship between water environmental protection and water sports And the relationship between corporate social responsibility and water environmental protection, so that students have full access to the professional knowledge of water recreation.
The second half of the theoretical class, retired athletes from the national rowing team; national first-class swimmers; Chinese canoe association safety instructors; members of the Chinese Canoe Association; and four members of the American Canoe Association (ACA); Chinese Red Cross ambulance training professionals, head coach Liu Yaya explained.
Through humorous personal demonstrations and video presentations, Coach Liu showed the Expo elites the correct operation techniques of kayaking and SUP boards, and introduced the safety knowledge of water safety and lifesaving professional areas, including How to properly wear life jackets, how to save themselves on the water, how to avoid the danger of water sports and so on.
A series of knowledge explanations have laid a good foundation for the experience of the water base practice course tomorrow, so that the students can benefit a lot and learn the correct way to carry out and participate in the water leisure sports.
